The art of returning home

Have you noticed how life just doesn’t stop? How it keeps twisting, turning, endlessly speeding up?

Have you noticed how there’s always another difficult conversation to have at work with your colleague? At home with your partner? With your teenage kid?

Have you realised that every time you think you know how it’s going to pan out, something shifts, changes, slips through your grip?

Did I make the right choice? Did I say the right thing? Should I have been firmer, kinder, silent?

How should I be through it all?

An embodied yoga practice ~ one where you actually live the practice ~ provides you with a soft anchor through every trial & every tribulation.

An embodied yoga practice is a lantern in the dark, your lantern in the dark ~ it’s not about perfection or about adding another thing to your endless wellness to-do list.

It’s about fundamentally shifting your way of being, from your core, so that you can make decisions & take action in a way feels authentically you, even when the outside noise is telling you otherwise.

An embodied yoga practice offers you the chance to anchor into the sweetest version of yourself, if you’re ready to take it.

Are you ready to come home?

Situated on beautiful land at the foot of Wollumbin (sacred Mount Warning), you will have the opportunity to participate in a thriving spiritual community in the Northern Rivers, explore the lesser shared philosophy of yoga with me and guest Vedic teachers, experience extended yoga practices & share meals with people who are also seeking a more connected life. This is an intentional retreat to support you to access the quiet place that allows you to tenderly hold whatever's happening on the surface: to become the person you already know you can be.

Your teachers ~

  • Brianna is a yoga teacher, with 16 years of practice experience. Brianna knows the real nectar of yoga is not the physical practice but developing your connection to your spiritual self. Brianna is known for her grounded workshops & down-to-earth approach.  She’s very excited to welcome you to Return Home Retreat.

  • Alyssa is a Vedic Astrologer (Jyotishi) and Taoist health coach who sees life as a sacred offering. Her work (Sunseed Space) blends ancient wisdom with embodied knowing, rooted in deep reverence for nature, beauty, and devotion.

Alyssa weaves astrology, seasonal wisdom, Goddess worship, and Taoist longevity & radiance practices into gentle guidance — creating nourishing spaces that are both clarifying and transformational.

  • Laxmivan served as a Vedic Priest for 10 years, before leaving the ashram & discovering power yoga (there are no rules here!) Laxmivan can quote parts of ancient yogic texts in Sanskrit at will, but still manages to deliver yogic philosophy in with lots of humour & in a a way that feels grounded, accessible and effortlessly applicable to your life :)
